Pair of modern bone earrings with elk fur tassels, placed on a textured brown surface with soft beige and brown fabrics nearby.

MATERIALS ARCHIVE: Bone Forever my favorite material to work with. Waste, not so much, but discarded and left behind by its former host, working with bone has always felt like a coming home to nature as I would work with so many other systems-made waste forms. Each bone was found shed of the animal it once belonged to and I would create with them on their own or paired with other found materials. Techniques: sawing, polishing, shaping, sanding.

Other materials: horse hair, glue, Argentium silver, brass
